My Expertise
I am a technical glove designer with a background in tailoring, product development and process optimisation in industrial production.
Over the past years, I have developed gloves for sports, luxury, firefighting and institutional clients, working closely with production sites in several EU Member States and third countries. My work focuses on turning complex requirements into clear, production-ready tech packs, including detailed sketches, POM tables, BOMs and stitch descriptions. I analyse specifications, flag design and compliance risks early and coordinate with production, procurement and management to keep quality, timelines and costs under control. Because I was trained as a bespoke menswear tailor and later certified in REFA 4.0 process optimisation and waste management, I design with both the sewing table and the shop-floor processes in mind.
I have supported quality control according to ISO 2859-1, supervised sampling for demanding customers and prepared multilingual documentation for institutional buyers. Working abroad at partner factories taught me to rely on precise visual communication, structured meeting notes and agile tools such as daily briefings, sprint-style planning and concise status updates. This combination of shop-floor experience and structured project work allows me to translate abstract requirement lists into gloves that can actually be produced, inspected and delivered.
Why Work With Me
When you work with me, you get a partner who asks detailed questions first and documents decisions clearly, so your team always knows what the next step is. I review your initial idea or specification, map the functional and regulatory needs, and then build a clean, consistent tech pack that your factory can implement with minimal back-and-forth.
Depending on your needs, I can support you with:
-
Tech packs and spec sheets for gloves, including graded measurements, material lists and construction details.
-
Pattern-related support such as pattern administration, digitising existing patterns and preparing files for CAD cutting.
-
Quality checklists based on your tech packs and sampling support to ensure early detection of issues before production.
I am used to working at the interface of design, production and management, and I treat communication as part of the product.
You can book me for clearly scoped projects or for ongoing support across several developments; either way, my goal is the same: gloves that meet demanding requirements, with documentation your factory and your clients can actually rely on.
